The argon-filled double-glazed windows provide excellent thermal insulation, reducing heat loss and energy consumption. The openable shed roof, designed to maximise natural light, promotes summer ventilation through the principle of upward airflow, naturally improving the indoor microclimate.
Material selection prioritises durability and low environmental impact: the hammered Zandobbio stone walls require no painting, reducing additional treatments.
The lighting system is designed for maximum efficiency, with low-consumption lights in the production areas and adjustable-intensity systems in the offices, combined with sound-absorbing and fire-retardant panels to ensure visual, acoustic, and thermal comfort.
The photovoltaic system installed on the roof, built with recyclable materials, contributes to the company’s energy independence and significantly reduces its overall environmental impact, reinforcing its concrete commitment to sustainable production.

An experienced team and advanced technologies for the design of complete solutions
Within our technical department, a dedicated group of mechanical and electronic (HW/SW) engineers with long-standing experience in industrial automation is continuously at work.
This team has developed proprietary software tools for the sizing and verification of single- and multi-axis components and systems.
Design activities are supported by a sophisticated 3D CAD system based on SolidWorks, enabling accurate and reliable simulation and optimisation of every solution, as well as by international manufacturers’ software for the verification of shafts, bearings, and gearing in general.
Metrology Room
Certified inspections ensuring precision and quality in every application
Our metrology room is a controlled environment equipped with thermo-hygrometric regulation and dust filtration systems, designed to perform high-precision dimensional checks.
Inside, we have a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and certified measuring benches, including a 7-metre two-axis bench developed to SETEC’s own specifications: the only one of its kind in Italy which allows hundredth-millimetre measurements on guides and ball screws.
This advanced equipment enables us to meet the highest standards required by the most demanding motion control applications, providing a high-value service based on quality, reliability, and total process control.
