ELECTROMAST is a fully electromechanical telescopic electric cylinder designed for raising regulatory bow lights on vessels over 50 m in length. The solution features three carbon fiber telescopic stages, driven by transmission components made of treated special light alloy, and is developed for marine applications where high manufacturing precision, linearity and concentricity of moving parts are required.

The electromechanical architecture eliminates the need for hydraulic systems and integrates the lifting function into a single unit, with particular attention to efficiency, low noise emission and onboard integration.

Key features
  • Telescopic electromechanical actuator with 3 stages
  • Carbon fiber stages, transmission components in treated light alloy
  • Coaxial hollow cavity for internal cable routing
  • Mechanically irreversible system, maintains position without power supply
  • Bidirectional actuation in extension and retraction
  • Indicative closed length 4.3 m, diameter 412 mm, stroke 8.5 m
Key advantages
  • Fully electromechanical system, without powerpack and pressurized oil
  • Lightweight and compact structure for long strokes
  • Mechanical irreversibility, position holding without power supply
  • Coaxial hollow cavity for protected cable routing
  • Low noise emission and finishes suitable for visible installations
  • Bidirectional actuation in extension and retraction
  • Simplified installation with adjustable limit switches
